During the mobilization in Ukraine, receiving a summons from representatives of the Territorial Center for Staffing obliges the conscripted citizen to appear at the military enlistment office by the specified deadline; however, there are instances when one may not be required to attend.

There are circumstances under which one may not need to report to the Territorial Center for Staffing (TCK) or the military enlistment office on time.

Lawyers have explained how to notify the TCK about one's absence, citing current legislation.

Thus, the individual must urgently inform the TCK of their inability to appear by the deadline specified in the summons.

To do this, a written request in free form should be made, indicating the name, surname, details of the summons, and the reasons for the absence.

This request should include documentary evidence confirming the circumstances that caused the absence at the TCK.

The request can be submitted in person, via email, or by registered mail with a delivery notification.

It is also known that there are several reasons that allow one not to go to the TCK for the summons by the specified deadline, including natural disasters, sudden illness, military actions in the relevant area, and their consequences.

Among the reasons for not appearing on time at the TCK are the death of a close relative and other hindering circumstances.

The circumstances must be documented, for example, with certificates or acts certified by authorized state bodies, institutions, or organizations of state or communal ownership.

If an individual cannot notify the TCK themselves, others can do so on their behalf, such as a doctor who provided assistance, family members, acquaintances, or the conscript's lawyer.
