Mobilization in Ukraine is ongoing, so citizens should be aware of the categories of conscripts who are not required to undergo military medical commissions (VLC).

According to Ukrainian legislation, conscripts must undergo a military medical commission (VLC) to determine their fitness for military service.

However, the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 675 lists the categories of Ukrainians who do not need to undergo medical examination.

It is known that conscripts who are registered do not need to undergo the military medical commission (VLC).

This applies to men aged 18 to 25 who have not completed mandatory military service or have not graduated from a military department.

This category of citizens may only be directed to a medical examination during mobilization in Ukraine if they voluntarily accept military service.

However, young men registering for military service must undergo a military medical commission (VLC) to assess their fitness for military duty.

It has been reported that reserved Ukrainians cannot be sent for medical examination either, as this is not stipulated by Ukrainian law.

Citizens who have been removed from military registration also have the right not to undergo VLC, specifically those who have reached the maximum age for reserve status, or who have been discharged due to health issues or convicted of serious crimes.
