A man in the Chernivtsi region was fined for grazing goats on cemetery grounds.

According to the documents from the Unified State Register of Court Decisions, the man violated the urban beautification rules in the town of Khotyn by grazing his goats in areas not designated for this purpose. This specifically pertains to the cemetery grounds, where the domestic animals damaged gravestones and caused harm to neighboring plots.

Despite numerous complaints from local residents, the man denied his guilt and appealed to the court, claiming that his actions did not violate the beautification rules and that he did not graze goats on the cemetery.

Evidence and Testimonies

During the court hearing, witnesses were heard who confirmed that the man lives near the cemetery and regularly grazes his animals there. The witnesses noted that the goats have repeatedly damaged gravestones, creating inconveniences for those visiting their loved ones.
