It is quite easy to look at the map of the combat operations and see that the enemy is located near Velyka Novosilka, just a few kilometers from the geographical locations of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
This was stated by military expert, retired Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Serhiy Hrabskyi in an interview with Angelika Pychyk.
"Can we assume that they will advance there and formally step onto the territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region? Yes, absolutely, there is no doubt about it," Serhiy Hrabskyi stated.
However, according to the military expert, the invaders entering the territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region does not signify a failure of the front. Moreover, it is evident that the enemy wishes to continue offensive operations in the Zaporizhzhia region and even advance towards Zaporizhzhia.
"These are all components of the strategic objective that the enemy has set for themselves - the destruction of the state of Ukraine. Therefore, they can continue their offensive, and they may enter the territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region, but this does not indicate a catastrophic situation.
These are the realities of our war, where we are forced to retreat in this situation under the pressure of significantly superior enemy forces. Retreat, according to military regulations, is a type of maneuver just as valid, and believe me, it is even more complex than an attack, flanking, or encirclement," Serhiy Hrabskyi added.
