To the south of Pokrovsk, in the Novopavlivka direction, the occupiers are attempting to force the Armed Forces of Ukraine to withdraw from the "remnants of the Kurakhove bridgehead" - the area around the village of Dachne and further south, through constant gradual pressure.
Military analyst and coordinator of the "Information Resistance" group, Konstantin Mashovets, reported this in his Telegram channel.
The military expert noted that the enemy is conducting active offensive/storm actions from the Novoelyzavetivka-Yasenevo line towards Nadivka and Novoandriivka, as well as along the Slovyanka-Petropavlivka line to the west, and in these areas, the occupiers have managed to advance somewhat.
In the eastern and southern parts of the "remnants of the Kurakhove bridgehead," it is evident, according to the expert, that the Ukrainian Armed Forces, engaged in fierce rear guard battles and occasionally conducting counterattacks, are gradually retreating west and north of the Sukhyi Yaly River.
"It seems that the Ukrainian command fully understands the importance of holding Andriivka, as well as the section of the Zaporizhzhia-Donetsk road between the villages of Dachne and Ulakli, to ensure an organized and orderly nature of this maneuver," explained Konstantin Mashovets.
In the expert's opinion, the further actions of the Russian occupation forces in the Novopavlivka direction will aim to prevent the entrenchment of Ukrainian units in the area of Razliv-Constantinople-Andriivka-Ulakli.
