The residential complex "Yekaterinoslavsky I" on the Boulevard of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army in Dnipro has become a finalist for one of the most prestigious architectural awards – the Mies van der Rohe Award 2024.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the press service of the architectural bureau "FILIMONOV & KASHIRINA". Additionally, it has been included in a special compilation of the best architectural projects worldwide.

The project was created by the renowned architectural bureau of Dnipro businessman Vadim Yermolaev, "FILIMONOV & KASHIRINA".

The building impresses with its futuristic facade featuring overhanging and descending elements, as well as innovative energy-efficient lighting that makes the complex easily recognizable even at night.

This project was featured in the nominee compilation for the Mies van der Rohe Award released in December 2024, further establishing it as an important showcase of Ukrainian architecture on the international stage.

"We finally received the printed compilation of works from the nominees of the Mies van der Rohe Award 2024. The copy is fresh, printed in December 2024. The residential complex on the South Boulevard was one of the contenders for this prestigious award in May 2024. It was an honor to attend the awards ceremony for the winners in Barcelona," wrote architect Natalia Kashirina.
