A lawyer explained what happens if you do not collect the summons from the territorial recruitment centers at the post office during mobilization in Ukraine.

Attorney Roman Simutin reported whether the summons will be legally considered delivered if it is not collected from the post office.

According to Ukrainian legislation, citizens can receive summonses from the TCK via postal delivery, specifically through registered mail via "Ukrposhta."

He first reminded that Ukrainians who have not updated their personal information will be summoned to the territorial recruitment centers with the aim of updating their data.

However, those who have updated their information may be called to the military medical commission.

The lawyer emphasized that summonses will be sent to the address provided during the last data update.

If a conscript has not updated their information, the summons may be sent to a residence found in other state registries.

In response to the question of whether a summons is considered delivered if it has not been collected, Simutin stated that the summons will be regarded as delivered even if the post office marks it as not collected by the addressee.

Thus, failing to collect the summons does not exempt one from the obligation to appear at the TCK.

During mobilization in Ukraine, a summons is deemed delivered from the moment the fact is recorded that it was not retrieved from the post office.
