Thus, power outage schedules have been introduced, with Ukrenergo utilizing one or two queues simultaneously.
As reported by NEK "Ukrenergo," the timing and volume of restrictions for residential consumers will be as follows:
00:00 – 13:00 – one queue of outages;
13:00 – 17:00 – two queues of outages;
17:00 – 22:00 – one queue of outages.
For industry and businesses, the power restriction schedules will last from 06:00 to 22:00.
Energy workers added that the reason for implementing these restrictions is the damage to energy facilities caused by Russian missile and drone attacks in November and December.
Currently, repair work is ongoing at the facilities.
"The timing and volume of restrictions throughout the day may change. For the latest information on outage schedules in your region, please check the website or the official pages of the regional energy companies on social media," Ukrenergo stated.
Moreover, to quickly restore electricity supplies, it is crucial to determine where the accident occurred and who is responsible for it.
In Ukraine, power outage schedules are implemented not only due to damage to power plants but also in cases of damage to electricity transmission networks.
This was reported by DTEK in response to a question about why there are no power cuts in western Ukraine.
