On Monday, February 24, the UN General Assembly supported the Ukrainian resolution regarding the third anniversary of the war titled "Advancing a Comprehensive, Just, and Lasting Peace in Ukraine."
93 countries voted "in favor," 18 voted "against," and 65 abstained.
The General Assembly reaffirms its commitment to the sovereignty, independence, unity, and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders.
Countries that voted against include the USA, Russia, Hungary, and Israel. Meanwhile, China abstained.
Previously, Trump withdrew the United States from the UN Human Rights Council for the second time.
