Lithuania has decided to enhance its support for the Ukrainian energy sector. It will provide its energy equipment from decommissioned nuclear power plants and thermal power stations.
This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, during a briefing with his Lithuanian counterparts.
As the Ukrainian Prime Minister noted, Lithuania will continue to assist Ukraine in its recovery efforts.
"Today we agreed on further effective support for the Ukrainian energy sector, particularly regarding the transfer of equipment from decommissioned Lithuanian nuclear and thermal power plants," clarified Shmyhal.
He expressed gratitude to Lithuanian Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas and the Lithuanian people for their assistance.
