Since the beginning of December 19, there have been 189 combat engagements reported on the front lines of the Russo-Ukrainian war. The most intense assaults were recorded in three directions in the Donetsk region and in the Kursk region of Russia.
Enemy Shelling
Over the past day, the enemy launched 51 air strikes, dropping 80 guided aerial bombs (GAB), deployed 820 kamikaze drones, and carried out more than 4,100 shelling attacks on populated areas and our military positions.
Situation on the Frontlines
In the Kharkiv direction, Russian terrorists conducted air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Tsupivka, Mali Prokhody, Veselye, and Udi.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attacked our fortifications ten times in the areas of Lozova, Zahryzove, and Kolisnykivka.
In the Lyman direction, the Defense Forces repelled 17 enemy attacks near Tverdokhlibove, Zelenyi Hai, Terny, and in the Serebryansk forestry in the Lyman direction. Air strikes targeted Tverdokhlibove, Nadiya, Serhiivka, Hrekivka, and the Serebryansk forest.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy attempted offensive actions in the areas of Bilohorivka, Hryhorivka, and Verkhniokamianske, with a total of nine attacks repelled. Air strikes hit the areas of the settlements of Serebryanka, Siversk, Riznykivka, and Fedorivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, one attempt by the invaders to advance near Chasiv Yar ended in failure. Air strikes with GABs targeted Virolyubivka and Kramatorsk.
In the Toretsk direction, the occupiers launched 12 assaults today on the positions of our defenders in the areas of Toretsk and Shcherbynivka. The Defense Forces are steadfastly holding the line. In the areas of Druzhba and Katerynivka, the enemy dropped GABs.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy is intensively attacking our defenders. Throughout the day, the enemy carried out 32 offensive actions.
The highest activity of Russian occupiers continues in the areas of the settlements of Sukha Balka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Solone, Novyi Trud, Zelenyi, and Novovasilivka. Our defenders are bravely holding the lines, repelling all enemy attacks.
According to preliminary estimates, today our soldiers eliminated 199 and injured 205 occupiers. Eleven units of automotive equipment were destroyed, and a tank, self-propelled artillery, and mortar were significantly damaged.
In the Kurakhiv direction, there have been 18 combat engagements reported at this hour. Terrorists attempted to advance in the areas of Sontsivka, Staryi Terniv, Andriivka, Kurakhove, and Dachne. One engagement is ongoing.
In the Vremivka direction, the enemy conducted 20 attacks throughout the day towards Uspenivka, Kostiantynivka, Blahodatne, Neskuchne, and Novodaryivka. Currently, three battles are ongoing. The enemy carried out air strikes with GABs in the areas of the settlements of Novosilka, Novodaryivka, Temyrivka, and Zelenyi Pole.
In the Orikhiv direction, Russian invaders made one attempt to storm our defenders' positions towards Novodanylivka. At the same time, they conducted air strikes in the areas of Stepnohirska, Temyrivka, and Lobkove.
In the Dnipro direction, two enemy assaults ended in failure.
In the Kursk region, defenders repelled 48 attacks from the invaders, with another 12 engagements still ongoing. According to updated information, the enemy launched six air strikes on its own territory, dropping seven guided aerial bombs.
No significant changes in the situation have occurred in other directions.
