As part of the 16th package of sanctions imposed by the European Union against Russia, restrictions have been implemented against 48 individuals. This was reported by the President of Ukraine’s authorized representative for sanctions policy, Vladislav Vasyuk.
Among the individuals on the sanctions list are:
- Russian actor and comedian Mikhail Galustyan;
- TV presenter Yulia Baranovska;
- Senator from occupied Crimea and chess player Sergey Karjakin;
- Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Mechel" Igor Zyuzin;
- General Director of "Inter RAO" Sergey Dregval;
- Owner of AFC "System" Vladimir Yevtushenkov;
- Senator from the Astrakhan region and fugitive Ukrainian MP Andriy Derkach;
- Director for Special Assignments at "Rostec", husband of TV presenter Tina Kandelaki Vasily Brovko;
- Blogger and media manager Kristina Potupchik;
- Shareholder of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company Igor Kudryashkin;
- Head of the "Leninets" holding Anatoly Turchak;
- General Director of the "Rosya" exhibition achievements Directorate Natalia Virtuzova;
- General Director of the "Almaz-Antey" concern Yan Novikov;
- President of YGC Konstantin Strukov;
- Head of "OAK" Vadim Badykha;
- Businessman Albert Avdolyan;
- Olympic champion and head of "Movement of the First" Nikita Nagorny;
- Zakharov (Zala Aero);
- Dronov (Tula);
- "NewsFront" (propaganda);
Among the entities sanctioned is the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation (RANEPA) for implementing the "Time of Heroes" program for participants in the war against Ukraine.
Also on the list of legal entities are the Black Sea Bank for Development and Reconstruction, as well as the cryptocurrency exchange Garantex.
At the beginning of 2023, Mikhail Galustyan was placed under sanctions by Ukraine and Canada. The reason is that the showman publicly disseminates Kremlin narratives, justifies Russia's actions, and during the 2018 presidential elections was part of the Putin Team movement.
