The Security Service of Ukraine has announced suspicions against Yuriy Slyusar, who serves as the general director of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) in Russia. Under his leadership, the Russian aviation industry has been restructured to support military aggression against Ukraine.

This information was reported by Glavpost, citing the press service of the SBU.

According to the investigation, since the onset of the full-scale invasion, Slyusar has facilitated the production and modernization of over 100 combat aircraft. Among them are the Tu-22M3 bombers and MiG-31 fighter jets, which have been used for attacks on Ukrainian territory, including with the use of "Kinzhal" missiles. Additionally, within the framework of military production, the Russian army has received Su-24M, Su-25, Su-35, Su-57 fighters, and Il-76MD-90A transport planes.

“He is not just managing the aviation industry; he is effectively coordinating the execution of military orders from the Kremlin aimed at destroying Ukraine's civilian infrastructure,” the SBU noted.

Investigators have gathered evidence confirming that Slyusar's actions are coordinated with the highest military and political leadership of Russia. Based on the collected materials, he has been charged in absentia with aiding and abetting aggressive warfare in conspiracy with a group of individuals (Part 5 of Article 27, Part 2 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 437 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The SBU continues its work to identify all individuals involved in organizing military supplies and to hold them accountable in international courts.
