The President of the United States, Donald Trump, declined to label Russian leader Vladimir Putin as a dictator during a press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron.
When asked by journalists if he considers Putin a dictator, Trump responded that he does not use such terms lightly. Instead, he focused on the topic of conflict resolution and the loss of human lives.
The American leader noted that there is a chance for a “good resolution” among various countries, emphasizing the role of Europe and Ukraine in this process. He also remarked that the loss of human life cannot be compensated, unlike financial resources.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated during a press conference on February 23 that he does not yet know when his meeting with Trump will take place. However, he expressed a desire to meet with the American president before his negotiations with Putin.
