Today, the largest armies in Europe are the Ukrainian and Turkish forces. Ukraine views Turkey as one of the security guarantors.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky during a press conference.
"I do not know at what moment, in what format, or in what role, but Erdogan (Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of Turkey) knows that we consider him among the important security guarantors for us. I have discussed this with Erdogan. I believe Europe needs to look toward Turkey. Because there are two armies in Europe — the Ukrainian and the Turkish. These are the two largest armies," the president declared.
