The special envoy of the elected President of the United States, Donald Trump, regarding the war in Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, stated that the losses of the Russian army during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine are five times greater than those of the Ukrainian forces. He shared this information during an appearance on Fox Business.
Kellogg pointed out that the war being waged by Russia against Ukraine has taken on a war of attrition character, similar to conflicts seen during World War II.
The Russians are simply throwing a massive number of soldiers onto the front lines, and then even more. Wave attacks, accompanied by significant losses, are standard practice for Russia, just as it is for North Korea, he emphasized.
The special envoy also expressed the view that under the current conditions, both Ukraine and Russia are already ready to negotiate peace. According to Kellogg, both sides are hinting that "it’s time to stop." He expressed hope that Donald Trump will fulfill his promise and bring an end to the war.
