In California, large-scale wildfires are still ongoing. Ukraine can assist the United States in combating this disaster.
This was stated by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
President Zelensky has instructed Ukraine's Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, and diplomats to prepare for the potential involvement of Ukrainian rescuers in fighting the fires in California.
"The situation there is very severe, and Ukrainians can help Americans protect lives. This is currently being worked on, and through the appropriate channels, we have offered our assistance to the American side," he explained.
According to the president, 150 Ukrainian rescuers are already prepared to provide the necessary assistance.
