On Friday, February 21, power outages were implemented in Odesa. These restrictions apply to both residential and industrial consumers. This was reported by "Ukrenergo".
As the energy specialists noted, efforts are ongoing to eliminate the consequences of Russian drone attacks on energy facilities in the Odesa region. Experts are working to restore stable electricity supply as quickly as possible.
Currently, the distribution system operator (oblenergo) is forced to implement network restrictions, necessitating the disconnection of industrial and residential consumers in Odesa.
According to "Ukrenergo", electricity consumption remains consistently high. As of today at 8:30 AM, the consumption level was the same as it was at the same time the previous day.
As previously reported, to balance the energy system, power restrictions for industries are in place today from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Power outages for consumers are not being enforced, except in cases of emergency situations in the networks.
Odesa has been under attack from enemy drones for two consecutive days. The Russians are targeting energy infrastructure intentionally, aiming to leave people without heat and light.
