At the CES show in Las Vegas, Honda unveiled a new family of electric vehicles, the Honda 0. Production is set to begin in the USA in 2026. This was reported on the official website of the Japanese automaker.
1 2The four-door Honda 0 Saloon and the 0 SUV crossover are officially classified as pre-production prototypes. These electric cars feature angular designs and a streamlined silhouette with a curved roof. Additionally, they boast unique LED lighting.
The new Honda 0 Saloon, in particular, has a striking wedge-shaped silhouette reminiscent of concepts from the 1970s.
3 4Inside the Honda 0, a yoke-style steering wheel and five displays have been installed on the dashboard. The electric vehicle features a digital instrument cluster, a central touchscreen, a separate display for the front passenger, and two camera monitors that replace traditional rearview mirrors.
Honda has developed a new operating system for its electric vehicles called Asimo, which incorporates artificial intelligence. This system manages multimedia, a suite of safety features, and a Level 3 autopilot (allowing the driver to take their hands off the wheel).
5The Honda 0 electric vehicles will be available in a 241-horsepower rear-wheel-drive version and a 482-horsepower all-wheel-drive version. Customers can choose between two battery options: approximately 80 kWh and 100 kWh. Even the base model will have a range exceeding 480 km.
By the way, the CES show also showcased the electric vehicle Afeela 1 from Sony and Honda.
