Updated at 14:54. The Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office showed the aftermath of the strike on Tsupovka.
“On February 24 at 10:15 AM, the Russian Armed Forces conducted an airstrike on the village of Tsupovka. As a result of the attack, fires broke out in the private housing sector. At least 20 houses, outbuildings, and vehicles were damaged,” law enforcement officials reported.
Four people were injured as a result of the strike. A 21-year-old resident suffered a blast injury, and his condition is satisfactory. A 19-year-old girl was hospitalized in moderate condition with multiple shrapnel wounds.
Two men, aged 37 and 73, are in hospital in serious condition: both have blast injuries, fractures, etc.
Investigators have initiated a pre-trial investigation into the commission of a war crime (part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Updated at 13:35. In the village of Tsupovka, about 30 private houses (five of which are nearly completely destroyed) and dozens of outbuildings were damaged due to the Russian airstrike, reported the head of the Derhachi city military administration, Vyacheslav Zadorenko.
“Emergency services are continuing to extinguish fires and clear the rubble. According to preliminary information, a man may be trapped under the debris,” Zadorenko added.
13:00. According to data from the head of the Derhachi city military administration, Vyacheslav Zadorenko, a 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old girl were hospitalized with fragmentary injuries.
“The clearing of rubble is ongoing at the scene, where people may be trapped. Efforts to extinguish multiple fires are also underway. Such destruction has not been experienced in Tsupovka since 2022,” Zadorenko confirmed.
