The nighttime assault by Russians on Ukraine continues — Zaporizhzhia has been hit, with a series of explosions reported. The enemy launched over 10 strikes, leaving more than 400 subscribers without power, and damaging residential buildings. Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, informed his Telegram channel that relevant services are already on the scene, and there is currently no information about casualties.
Monitoring channels reported that it was noisy in Zaporizhzhia: prior to this, the Ukrainian Air Forces had warned that drones were heading toward the city. Fedorov confirmed the information, stating that the consequences of the enemy attack are being assessed. At the same time, the official described it as the most massive attack in recent times.
"The consequences are being assessed. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties," — Fedorov wrote on Telegram.
Shortly after, details about the initial consequences of the Russian attack on the city emerged.
"An infrastructure facility has been damaged, along with multi-story and private houses. More than 400 subscribers are without power," — Fedorov added.
Other impacts of the massive attack are still being determined. Emergency services continue to operate on-site.
"According to updated information, the Russians directed 16 drones at the city," — the official noted later.
Meanwhile, the drone attacks by Russians on Ukraine persist — air raid alerts have been declared in several regions, and monitoring channels report drone movements in various directions.
Recall that following the nighttime attack on Odesa, the Russians claimed that the head of the HUR, Kyrylo Budanov, was allegedly staying at the "Bristol" hotel. The National Security and Defense Council commented on this news, refuting the Russian claims and urging Ukrainians not to believe in Russian fakes.
