The emergency services in Kharkiv Oblast are under constant fire from the Russian Federation, reported Oleg Synegubov, the head of the Regional Military Administration, during a broadcast on the national marathon.
He provided statistics indicating that over the course of three months, more than 20 emergency medical service vehicles, as well as units of the State Emergency Service and National Police, have been destroyed due to enemy strikes in the region.
“The primary goal of the enemy is to terrorize the local population. All services, including emergency medical assistance, the State Emergency Service, and the National Police, are committed to providing services to civilians. They are doing everything possible in frontline areas to ensure the livelihood of the population. If the enemy sees that a State Emergency Service unit has responded to eliminate the aftermath of shelling, they target the equipment with FPV drones, as well as our personnel and the National Police,” said the head of the Regional Military Administration.
