The head of the Derhachevsk city military administration, Vyacheslav Zadorenko, explained that the cause of the accident was the strong winds that swept through the area.
“The energy workers of the Derhachevsk R.E.S. have already begun emergency recovery operations. The timeline for restoring power supply depends on the extent of the damage,” Zadorenko explained.
At the moment, the repair teams are only assessing the scope of work and are unable to provide specific timelines for the restoration of the networks.
