World-renowned Japanese blogger Yuki Kinoshita, who participated in competitive eating contests, has announced her retirement due to health issues and age. This was reported by SCMP.

She shared this news with her 5.2 million social media followers on February 1, a few months after returning online following a seven-month hiatus due to her struggle with bipolar disorder.

"I will turn 40 on February 4, and it has become very difficult for me to continue working as a professional eater," Kinoshita wrote.

The Japanese blogger admitted that her health has deteriorated over the years, and even with a normal diet, she experiences significant fatigue.

Kinoshita rose to fame in 2009 after participating in the popular reality show The Battle of Big Eaters. Her ability to consume enormous quantities of food despite her petite stature (158 cm tall and weighing 47 kg) amazed the public.

In 2014, she launched her own video channel, showcasing incredible "food challenges." Among her records are 600 pieces of fried chicken, 100 burgers, or 5 kg of steak or ramen in a single sitting.

However, at the beginning of 2023, she stopped publishing content, and in August, she explained her absence due to mental health issues.

Now, Kinoshita has decided to completely step away from competitive eating and focus on her well-being.

"I am not in the mindset for love and have never thought about marriage. I am quite happy and content with my three cats," she confessed in a recent video.

Fans supported the blogger's decision, expressing gratitude for the years of entertainment.

"Your health is the most important thing. Thank you for your videos, which have been healing for me," wrote one of her followers.

Kinoshita hopes that this new phase of her life will be calm and harmonious.

It was also reported that a waitress was unprepared for what one bar patron did. The young woman approached a table to greet the guests, but one of them, a man around 50 years old, suddenly reached out towards her face. What happened next shocked both the young employee and social media users.
