The "Baba Yaga" drones play a key role in the Ukrainian counterattacks near Kharkiv, according to analysts.

The Vampire drones have become a key component of Ukraine's counterattacks on Russian positions in the Kharkiv region. The aerial reconnaissance unit of the "Steel Border" brigade in the Sumy direction continues to eliminate the enemy using the "Vampire" UAVs. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service on January 19.

The deployment of Vampire drones in this mission has enabled precise targeting of Russian positions, as noted by analysts from Army Recognition. Footage of the operation released to the public demonstrated the drones' ability to strike with high accuracy, confirming their significant role in modern military strategy.

Complementing ground operations, the drones provide Ukrainian forces with enhanced reconnaissance and strike capabilities that would otherwise be difficult or dangerous for ground troops. The combination of reconnaissance and offensive capabilities underscores their versatility in the combat zone.

The Vampire is a night strike drone developed by the Ukrainian company Skyfall, specifically designed to address challenges posed by the Russian invasion. Introduced in response to the need for effective night operations, the drone is equipped with six rotors and a thermal imaging camera capable of identifying targets at distances of up to 120 meters, even in minimal visibility conditions.

This technological advantage allows Ukrainian forces to conduct precise operations under the cover of night, targeting enemy positions that would otherwise remain secure. The drone can carry up to 15 kg of munitions, including fragmentation bombs, thermobaric weapons, and TM-62 mines.

It is worth noting that on January 22, a new drone was presented by the Ministry of Defense, designed to operate in heat, cold, and windy weather.

Additionally, it was reported that Russia is resuming operations at a Cold War-era secret submarine base in Crimea.
