55-year-old Lauren Sanchez, a former journalist and fiancée of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, felt like the most overlooked person while attending Donald Trump's inauguration at the Capitol alongside her fiancé. Surrounded by some of the most influential figures in the country, including Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan, the "forward-facing" pose of the former news anchor isolated her, says body language expert Judy James in an interview with FEMAIL.
Lauren seemed to be lost between Bezos and Zuckerberg, who were engrossed in their own conversations. It was at that moment that Sanchez "appeared to glance at Priscilla before turning to face the audience, shaking her head and puffing up, which could suggest a challenge," noted Judy.
"He politely turned to look at her. But when he realized she just wanted to point at the ceiling, he smiled condescendingly and returned to the conversation, leaving Lauren, who was gripping his hand, excluded from both discussions," the expert explains the interaction between Lauren and Jeff.
James adds that the billionaire's fiancée drew attention with her outfit, which was hard to call appropriate, and "frequently turned on the stairs as if trying to catch the cameras' attention."
"She stood on the balcony, looking ahead while everyone around her was engaged in excited, technical conversations," the expert continued, although she appeared "isolated" from her group.
When Lauren and Jeff arrived at the U.S. Capitol Rotunda in Washington, she was dressed in a long, buttoned white mohair coat. Upon entering, Sanchez removed it to reveal a white pantsuit, with a lace bra visible through its neckline.
Sanchez's look quickly became a subject of jokes after Mark Zuckerberg was spotted glancing at her cleavage. Additionally, due to her outfit, Lauren topped the lists of the most inappropriately dressed guests at the inauguration.
