A fire in Chuhuiv broke out the day before yesterday at 7:25 PM, reported the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.
“Upon arrival at the scene, rescuers established that a house covering an area of 70 sq. m was on fire. In the fire's focal point, firefighters discovered the body of a man. One person was injured,” the State Emergency Service clarified.
Rescuers also responded to locations of Russian strikes in the Saltivskyi and Slobidskyi districts. No fires were reported as a result of the shelling; however, damage to a power pole was recorded. Additionally, there are reports of three injured individuals.
In total, firefighters extinguished 20 blazes in the Kharkiv region over the course of a day. None of these incidents were linked to Russian shelling, the State Emergency Service specified.
