Participant of the National Selection for Eurovision-2025, singer ENLEO, commented on the situation regarding accusations of listening to Russian songs.

The artist shared this during an interview with host Slava Demin. Recently, a scandal erupted after a TikTok post where ENLEO admitted to listening to tracks by Russian rapper Oxxxymiron, known for his stance against Russian aggression, as well as LSP and Markul, who openly supports Putin. This sparked a wave of outrage online.

Before the full-scale invasion, he listened to several tracks by Oxxxymiron and other artists, but according to him, he no longer has such interest now.

"I don't know those songs. It was just a listening history, not my playlist. The other day, I came across a TikTok with Oxxxymiron, remembered that I used to listen to a few of his tracks, and decided to see what he has new. I scrolled through the songs, read the lyrics, but made a big mistake because it happened on Apple Music and Spotify. These platforms automatically translate minimal payments for streams to the artists," the singer stated.

ENLEO noted that during the interview, he agreed to show his listening history on his phone. This action drew sharp criticism, which he was not prepared for.

Music producer Tina Karol confirmed that the artist did not violate the rules of the National Selection, however, ENLEO admitted that he made a mistake from a moral standpoint.

"I broke an unwritten rule of a Ukrainian artist. I regret that this happened, and I learned an important lesson," the musician stated.

He promised to no longer take an interest in Russian music, even out of curiosity.
