Updated at 09:16. The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office published photos from the impact sites and clarified the information on the damages.
According to prosecutors, in Saltivka, in addition to the high-rise building, the glazing of four metro exits, five cars, and trade pavilions were damaged.
“In the Shevchenkivskyi district, two impacts were recorded. The first hit the roadway near residential buildings, and the second struck an open area in the city center. The damage was exclusively to civilian infrastructure — residential homes, trade kiosks, shops, educational institutions, beauty salon premises, dining establishments, public transport stops, metro station exits, as well as a historical building and at least four vehicles,” the prosecutor's office spokesperson noted.

08:49. “At 03:35, the Russians launched three strikes on the city of Kharkiv. Two strikes targeted the Shevchenkivskyi district: the first hit Freedom Square, damaging the facade and glazing of the State Industry Building. The second impact occurred in the Shevchenkivskyi district, near a five-story chain children's store, where the facade of that building and a five-story office space housing commercial and state organizations were damaged. A total of 36 objects were affected in the Shevchenkivskyi district. There were no injuries. The most significant destruction and devastating consequences were in the Saltivka district. Here, a strike hit between the first and second floors of a 12-story residential building. At the site, 25 people were injured, including four children, one of whom was a three-month-old infant. Among the injured, 10 individuals experienced acute stress reactions, and six were hospitalized for medical assistance. They sustained moderate to light injuries, including wounds to limbs, body, and face from glass and shrapnel. Emergency rescue operations continue at the site to determine if anyone is trapped under the rubble,” reported Dmitry Chubenko, spokesperson for the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, at the impact site near the high-rise building in Saltivka.
He added that the Russians used aviation munitions — FABs with UMPK — for the strikes on Kharkiv. The launch was conducted from the area of the village of Stroiteli in the Belgorod region, using a Su-34 aircraft.
Recall that explosions rocked Kharkiv at night — impacts occurred in the center and in Saltivka. The first explosions in Kharkiv were heard around 03:00. Following this, a series of strikes hit the city. Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that one of the bombs struck a high-rise building in Saltivka, where debris is being cleared. Subsequently, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, published photos from the city center showing further destruction of the State Industry Building.
