Over the course of a day, rescuers extinguished 12 fires, reported the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.
No fires caused by shelling were recorded. However, as a result of the fires in the region, there were two injuries within the day.
“In the first case, a fire broke out in a car service building in the Nemishlyansky district of Kharkiv. A 37-year-old man sustained burns to his face and right limb. He was hospitalized,” the State Emergency Service stated.
Another fire occurred in an outbuilding in the village of Bugaevka, Chuguiv district. A 62-year-old woman experienced an acute stress reaction.
