During the past 24 hours, Russian military forces attacked the Kharkiv region using drones, guided aerial bombs (KABs), and multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). There is one reported injury. On the night of March 2, UAVs were shot down over the region.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that on the night of March 2 (from 19:00 on March 1), Ukrainian air defense shot down 63 out of 79 Russian drones, particularly in the Kharkiv region, which was affected by this attack.
According to data from the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Sinegubov:
▪️ At 22:30 in the village of Zolochiv, two private houses were damaged as a result of an FPV drone strike.
▪️ At 21:30, debris from a drone fell near the city of Balakliia.
▪️ At 21:25, debris from a "Geran" drone caused a high-voltage line to be severed in the village of Alexandrovka of the Bohodukhiv community. Restoration work is ongoing.
▪️ At 17:00 in the village of Petropavlivka in the Kupiansk district, a 51-year-old man was injured due to an FPV drone attack and has been hospitalized.
▪️ At 16:30 in the village of Malyi Burluk of the Velykoburluk community, drone debris fell.
▪️ At 14:40 in the village of Klynovaya-Novoselivka of the Zolochiv community, two private houses, utility buildings, and a car were damaged due to an FPV drone attack.
▪️ At 12:55 in the village of Tsirkuny in the Kharkiv district, a "Molniya" drone crashed to the ground.
On March 2 at 4:37, Russian aviation dropped a KAB on the outskirts of the village of Turovo in the Zolochiv community, resulting in damage to three private properties. At 16:00 on March 1, another KAB struck the ground in the village of Staryi Saltiv.
Sinegubov reminded that on March 1 at about 6:30, the Russians attacked the village of Kovsharivka in the Kupiansk district with MLRS. A nine-story building was damaged, and a fire broke out. There were no casualties.
