Due to attacks on energy facilities in Ukraine, emergency power outages have been implemented (updated).

The NEC "Ukrenergo" has reported that emergency power outages have begun across the country.

Updated at 11:10. NEC "Ukrenergo" informed that the emergency power outages have already been lifted.

“The process of reconnecting de-energized consumers is ongoing. Electricity consumption has increased due to the drop in temperature. Please refrain from using multiple high-power electrical appliances simultaneously until 22:00,” the energy specialists stated.

Previously, emergency outages were implemented due to attacks by Russians on energy system facilities.

“Industrial consumers and businesses are primarily the first to be disconnected. Restrictions for residential consumers are applied only in rare cases (except in emergency situations in regional energy networks),” the energy experts clarified.

Additionally, "Ukrenergo" urged consumers to monitor changes in the situation on the official pages of regional energy companies and to use electricity efficiently.
