In the report released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at 08:00 on November 16, they noted ongoing enemy activity in the Kupiansk direction, as well as fighting occurring to the north of Kharkiv, with nine clashes reported over the past 24 hours.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in its briefing at 08:00 on November 16 about the ongoing enemy activity in the Kupiansk direction, with fighting also taking place to the north of Kharkiv—nine engagements in total over the day.

The General Staff informed that the Russian army conducted an aerial strike in the vicinity of Izyum. Overall, during the day, 52 airstrikes were carried out across Ukraine using 102 guided aerial bombs.

On the front lines, 170 combat engagements were recorded.

“In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy launched nine assaults on our troops' positions in the areas of the settlements of Vysoka Yaruha and Volchansk. In the Kupiansk direction, there were 17 attacks by the occupiers over the day. The defense forces repelled the enemy's assault actions near Kolesnikovka, Kopanky, and Nadiya,” the General Staff reported in its briefing.

Throughout the day, aviation, missile troops, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck one area where personnel, weapons, and military equipment of the Russian army were concentrated, as well as a ground station for UAVs and a communication tower. The General Staff provided information on the total losses of the occupiers.
