Drones and "shaheds" targeted Kharkiv region at night, causing damage, reported Synegubov.

During the night of February 21 to 22, the Russian army carried out airstrikes on two border communities in the Kharkiv region. Enemy drones attacked the rear area.

“23:01, February 21. Lozivskyi district, Bliznyukivska hromada, village of Bliznyuky, territory of a civilian enterprise. As a result of a strike by the ‘Geran-2’ drone, the roof of a warehouse building was damaged. The second ‘Geran-2’ drone hit the warehouse of another civilian enterprise, causing the roof to catch fire over an area of 20 sq. m,” — reported Oleg Synegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, on the morning of February 22.

Throughout the night, the Russian army struck the Kharkiv region with guided aerial bombs (GAB).

“On February 22, around 04:15, Kharkiv district, Derhachivska hromada, village of Lobanivka. As a result of a GAB strike, a private residential house was destroyed, leading to a subsequent fire. There were no casualties. On February 22, 04:22, Bohodukhiv district, Zolochivska hromada, village of Makarykha. A GAB hit the ground. There were no casualties or damages,” — wrote Synegubov.

Throughout the day, the Borivska hromada was under constant attack. The Russian army bombarded Borivshchyna with aerial bombs. There were destructions, but no casualties. One bomb, hitting the center of Borova, damaged a high-voltage power line. The settlement is partially without electricity, and restoration work is still ongoing. The Bohodukhiv district was also under attack — the border Zolochivska hromada was particularly affected.

“11:05, Bohodukhiv district, Zolochivska hromada, town of Zolochiv. As a result of a GAB hitting the road, vehicles caught fire, and two residential houses, the Employment Center building, a two-story apartment building, and a shop were damaged. Five people were injured (three women and two men). One man — an emergency service worker — is at home, while three women and one man have been hospitalized,” — informed the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

There were also GAB hits in open areas within the hromada. In the Kupiansk district, drone strikes continue — both from ‘lightning’ drones and FPV drones. The FPV drones also attacked the Lypetska hromada, and debris from a ‘Shahed’ drone was found in the Novovodolazka hromada.

“17:05, Izium district, Iziumska hromada, village of Kamyanka, debris from a rocket (type being established) was found in the territory of a waste landfill,” — added Synegubov.
