The offensive of Russia in the Kursk region has turned into a true disaster for the Kremlin.
Analyst Julian Repke from the German publication BILD stated this on the social media platform X. According to him, in just the first three days of the massive offensive, the enemy suffered heavy losses.
In his message, Repke noted that the Russian forces lost 28 units of armored vehicles, including modern BTR-82A, as well as over 200 soldiers, who were either killed or wounded. This, in his opinion, represents a significant defeat for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and his generals, calling into question the effectiveness of their military strategies.
"What a catastrophe for Vladimir Putin and his generals!" – emphasized the analyst.
His message also included a map illustrating the situation on the front lines in the Kursk region, where fierce battles are currently taking place. The confrontation in this area is gaining increasing importance as Russia has amassed significant forces for a counteroffensive, but the outcome so far has been extremely disappointing for the aggressor.
This failure could have serious implications for the Kremlin's strategy on the front and impact its positions at both political and military levels. Previously, Reuters reported that the next four to five months would be crucial and will determine the positions from which both sides will enter negotiations.
