The state bank "Oschadbank" may charge a fee for cash withdrawals from salary cards via ATMs, according to its tariffs.
This issue was raised by bank customers on Oschadbank's official Facebook page.
One user complained that for withdrawing 20,000 hryvnias from a salary card at an ATM, the bank charged a fee of 108 hryvnias. The man explained that he was unable to withdraw 40,000 hryvnias the day before due to a limit and was forced to split the amount over two days.
What the bank says
In their response, Oschadbank representatives clarified that the withdrawal fee depends on the client's tariff plan. Customers can review the terms:
on the bank's official website;
through the chat-bot;
via the contact center;
at the bank branch.
Clients were also reminded that there is a limit for free cash withdrawals for each card. For instance, Mastercard World Debit holders can withdraw up to 50,000 hryvnias per month without a fee. Additionally, at the bank's cash desk, it is allowed to withdraw up to 100,000 hryvnias without additional costs (up to two times a month) upon presenting a document that matches the individual's identity.
Limits and additional conditions
For the "My Account" tariff, free cash withdrawals at ATMs are limited to 10,000 hryvnias per month. Exceeding this limit incurs a fee of 1% of the amount plus 5 hryvnias. Meanwhile, the daily limit for withdrawing funds at ATMs is 50,000 hryvnias, but a client can withdraw no more than 20,000 in a single transaction.
The bank recommends verifying conditions and limits through the chat-bot or by calling the hotline at 0800-210-800.
