In Kharkiv region, a car skidded off the road, resulting in an accident that injured two individuals (photos included).

At approximately 07:10 in the city of Zmiev, Kharkiv region, an accident occurred.

“A Volkswagen Caddy driven by a 50-year-old resident of the village of Slobozhanske began to skid. The man lost control and collided with an oncoming VAZ 21093 driven by a 44-year-old driver,” — reported the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region.

As a result of the accident, both drivers were injured and were hospitalized, the law enforcement officials added.

Investigators have opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 286 (violation of traffic safety rules or operation of vehicles by individuals managing vehicles) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
