“Bauer (editor's note – head of NATO's military committee) points out that NATO is considering the possibility of preemptive precision strikes on Russian territory in the event of an attack threat. He stated that the Alliance is no longer adhering to a wait-and-react approach; instead, scenarios for striking missile launchers and other military facilities in Russia are being discussed to prevent aggression,” explains Alexander Musienko.

According to him, if such decisions are reached at the level of the Alliance's strategic military planning, then Bauer's comments are not made in vain and serve as a signal to Putin. The expert believes that if Russia strikes again with a "Walnut" or something similar against Ukraine, particularly near the NATO border, that missile heading towards the Alliance can already be considered a corresponding threat.

He is convinced that Putin will still attempt to use such actions to test the reaction of Trump and his team, whether the new administration will be intimidated or will adopt a Make America Great Again approach, which includes putting all dictators in their place.

“If NATO does not strike, then we need to give Ukraine the opportunity to hit targets on Russian territory, provide us with the appropriate planes, missiles, weapons, radars, detection systems, intelligence information, and share certain sensitive data so we can plan our operations. Then, everything will fall into place,” explains Alexander Musienko.

As reported by Politeka, Sheitelman stated that the West has been too slow in making decisions in response to the escalation from the Russian Federation.

Politeka also reported that Musienko assessed the extent of the destruction at the Kaluga Oil Refinery following the attack by Ukrainian drones.
