Ukrainian forces are not only holding strategic positions but are also gradually improving their tactical stance in certain areas of the Donetsk region.
This was noted by Alexander Musienko, the head of the Center for Military-Legal Studies, during a broadcast on Radio NV. He emphasized the active defense being implemented in several key directions.
"I can say that the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions, as well as Toretsk and Chasiv Yar, are holding strong. This is an outstanding defensive operation. All the tasks currently at hand are being executed excellently by the fighters there," the expert highlighted.
Despite the successes of the Ukrainian army, he pointed out local tactical advancements by Russian troops, but emphasized that these victories are only temporary and limited to specific territories.
"In the current circumstances, everything possible is being done to prevent the enemy from gaining rapid operational momentum. This is the most important task today, and these objectives are being met. All the successes that the enemy has achieved are tactical successes of a local, limited nature," Musienko underscored.
