At 21:04 on February 21, a fire broke out in the Nemishlyansky district of Kharkiv, reported the rescuers.

“The structural elements of a private home were on fire over an area of 50 square meters. As a result of the fire, a 31-year-old man was injured,” — informed the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kharkiv region.

The injured man suffered burns to his face and one of his limbs. He was taken to the hospital.

“The cause of the fire was a short circuit in the electrical network,” — noted the State Emergency Service.

In total, over the course of the day, Kharkiv rescuers responded to 27 different emergencies. This included 18 times to extinguish fires. One of these was caused by shelling — in Zolochiv, a car was set ablaze in the private sector following a Russian airstrike. Additionally, a bomb damaged houses. According to preliminary reports, five people were injured.
