The speaker of the regional prosecutor's office, Dmitry Chubenko, reminded that a series of strikes in the suburbs of Kharkiv occurred between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
Updated at 10:24 AM. The Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office reported that overnight, Russian forces launched 20 drones at the Kharkiv district. 17 of the UAVs were intercepted by air defense forces.
In total, 14 "arrivals" were recorded in the Kharkiv district. The strikes targeted an energy system facility, a civilian enterprise, and residential areas.
“At one location, two individuals were injured as a result of the explosion. A 68-year-old woman and a 75-year-old man sustained soft tissue and head injuries. Additionally, about 20 residential houses in a private housing area were damaged. Windows were shattered, and the roofs and facades of these houses were affected. Prosecutors and investigators are on-site to collect parts of these UAVs and include them in the criminal proceedings. Preliminary information suggests that the enemy used 'Shahed' or 'Geran' type drones for the attack. Criminal proceedings have been initiated under part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding these war crimes,” said Chubenko.
We remind you that on the evening of February 27, a massive drone attack on the suburbs of Kharkiv began. The Russians carried out at least 12 strikes. As a result, three residential houses were destroyed, and two individuals were hospitalized with injuries. Later, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, reported that the Russians launched a massive strike on the energy system of the Kharkiv region.
