In the fires that raged in Kharkiv and the surrounding region over the course of a day, four individuals were injured.
Additionally, the regional department of the State Emergency Service in Kharkiv confirmed that eight people were rescued.
One fire broke out in the Kharkiv region due to enemy shelling – the Russians launched a drone strike on the village of Losevka in the Chuhuiv district.
“As a result of the shelling, a fire and destruction occurred in an outbuilding on the territory of a private residence. A man born in 1994 was injured,” the rescuers reported.
Throughout the day and evening, residential fires were recorded in the Kharkiv region. Initially, an outbuilding caught fire in Olshany. A 52-year-old man was injured there. Preliminary reports suggest that the incident occurred due to violations of stove operation rules.
Later in the evening, a house in Vysokyi was engulfed in flames – the fire spread over an area of two square meters. A 42-year-old man sustained injuries in the fire.
During the night, a 16-story building caught fire in the Industrial district of Kharkiv.
“On the 4th floor, household items and furniture were on fire over an area of 6 square meters. A man born in 1948 was injured. Firefighters rescued 8 people, including one child. The preliminary cause of the fire is a short circuit in the electrical wiring,” the State Emergency Service clarified.
