“The enemy directed 17 ‘Shaheds’ and six rockets at our civilian infrastructure. The gas industry was essentially under attack. Additionally, our civilian objects were targeted. “On February 1, around 07:40, an enemy UAV hit a private house in the Kholodnoyarsky district of Kharkiv. The explosion damaged the private home, causing a fire covering an area of 20 square meters. Six rockets and 17 UAVs struck Kharkiv region: Synegubov on the aftermath

“Over the course of a day, the enemy directed 17 UAVs and six rockets at civilian people and infrastructure,” — stated Synegubov on the morning of February 1.

According to the head of HOVA, the most severe consequences of the shelling occurred in the Kholodnoyarsky district of Kharkiv. There, a 60-year-old woman was killed by falling debris from a UAV. The “arrival” hit a private home, injuring four individuals: a 38-year-old man, and women aged 64, 60, and 77. Two of them are hospitalized with blast wounds and burns.

Additionally, around seven in the morning, ‘Shaheds’ targeted the suburbs and the Novovodolazky district. Throughout the day on January 31, the Kupiansk district was under constant threat.

Alarm all night and an explosion in the morning

The air raid alert in Kharkiv has been ongoing for over nine hours. It was announced at 21:28, with no all-clear given throughout the night. The main reason for the alert was the “Shaheds,” which continuously polluted the sky over the region. The Armed Forces of Ukraine first informed about their appearance at 21:30.

Around midnight, the Air Forces also warned of fast-moving targets in the Kharkiv region. And at 05:33, they reported the threat of ballistic attacks from the northeast.

Around 05:40, an explosion was heard in Kharkiv. As of 07:00, there was no official information about an “arrival.”

The air raid alert has been declared across all regions of Ukraine as of 07:00. The Armed Forces of Ukraine warned of rocket danger.
