A deputy of the Kharkiv Regional Council of the VIII convocation has been suspected of negligence in office. According to data from the regional prosecutor's office, he "turned a blind eye" to poor documentation regarding the repair of a destroyed school.
Law enforcement officials reported that the suspect was appointed as the first deputy head of one of the city councils in the region in 2020.
“At the end of 2021, he signed a contract with a limited liability company. The agreement concerned the development of project and estimate documentation for the reconstruction of school buildings with the addition of a new wing. In March 2022, as a result of armed aggression by the Russian Federation, the educational institution was destroyed. The parties agreed that the LLC would provide the documents for the school's restoration by December 31, 2022,” the investigation revealed.
However, according to law enforcement, the judicial construction and technical expertise concluded that several pieces of information were omitted in the developed documentation.
The prosecutor's office stated that the official “turned a blind eye,” acted carelessly in his duties, and signed the documents provided by the LLC. They claim that due to the negligence of the suspect, the city council suffered a loss of over 4.5 million UAH.

General Staff: No attacks in the Kharkiv direction, fighting continues in Kupiansk
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy did not conduct active offensive actions, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its report as of 16:00.

Third anniversary of the strike on the KhOVA – Synegubov recalls the tragedy in Kharkiv
Three years ago, on March 1, the Russian army struck the center of Kharkiv with cruise missiles: they hit the OVA building. The head of KhOVA, Oleg Synegubov, reminded that as a result of the "strike," 44 people lost their lives.

A nine-story building burned in Kharkiv region due to Russian shelling
In the morning of March 1, the enemy struck the Kupiansk community, reported the State Emergency Service in the Kharkiv region.
As a result of the strike, a nine-story building caught fire in the village of Kovsharivka.
