“Today, Kharkiv is under a genuine winter blanket — snow has heavily covered the city’s streets. Russian drones were shot down at night in the Kharkiv region

The Russian military attacked Ukraine at night with 70 "Shahed" drones and various types of imitation UAVs, reports the command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As of 9:00, the downing of 33 "Shaheds" and drones of other types has been confirmed in the Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions.

37 enemy imitation drones were locally lost (without negative consequences).

Kharkiv and the region are covered in snow — road workers have switched to an enhanced work mode

“The snowfall, which meteorologists warned about the day before, turned out to be quite intense. Snow fell in Kharkiv all night, with very heavy precipitation in certain areas of the region,” — state the Infrastructure Recovery and Development Service in Kharkiv region.

By 7 AM, 1450 km of roads had been cleared in the region.

“Considering that, according to meteorologists, the snow will continue today and the situation will be further complicated by a significant drop in temperature leading to the formation of ice, road workers continue to operate in an enhanced mode,” — noted the Service.

A day without strikes on Kharkiv, the region was attacked by drones and artillery. No casualties reported

The morning reports were published by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Synegubov, regional National Police, and State Emergency Service. According to their data:

▪️Kharkiv district:
The village of Dubovka was shelled from artillery at 11:00. A private house was damaged.
In the village of Borshcheva at 10:00, an FPV drone struck open terrain, and at 10:15, a UAV "Molniya" damaged a private house.
At 21:43, a UAV fell on open territory in the village of Solonitsevka.

▪️Chuhuiv district:
In the village of Khotomlya at 23:00, a household building with a total area of 100 square meters was on fire due to an FPV drone strike.

▪️Bohdanivka district:
In the village of Ivashki at 12:30, a gas pipe to a private household was damaged due to shelling, and repair work is ongoing.

▪️Kupiansk district:
Kupiansk was shelled by the Russian military from the Uragan multiple rocket launcher at 4:40 on February 14. Houses and outbuildings were damaged.

▪️On February 14, Russian troops continued offensive operations near Kupiansk but did not advance. The enemy attacked in the areas of Holubivka and Petropavlivka. A Russian source claimed that the RF troops had broken through defensive lines near Dvurechna and are strengthening positions on the right bank of the Oskol River, but ISW does not confirm this statement.

▪️Also, according to analysts, on February 14, Russian troops did not advance in the Borova area. They attacked in the areas of Zahryzovo, Bohuslavka, and Zelenyi Hai, as well as Novosergeivka, Hrekivka, and Makeivka.
