Who else in Kharkiv region may be affected by mandatory evacuation
The Kupiansk and Izium directions (the settlement of Borovaya) remain the most challenging areas in the Kharkiv region. The enemy has increasingly targeted civilian infrastructure, reported Oleg Synegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, during a national marathon broadcast.
“Regarding the Borovsk direction, we will most likely consider the issue of mandatory evacuation for the entire adult civilian population this week. This concerns 17 settlements,” Synegubov noted.
According to him, there are currently 10 families with children remaining there. Previously, there were 200.
“The enemy is destroying almost everything there. It is becoming increasingly difficult for us to maintain all state services there,” the head of the HOVA explained.

Over the past day, the enemy launched five assaults on the positions of Ukrainian defenders near Volchansk. The occupiers carried out eight airstrikes using 16 KABs and 10 NARs, as well as 35 kamikaze drone strikes. Additionally, they conducted 326 shellings, reported the Kharkiv Operational Tactical Group.
The enemy's losses over the past day amounted to 72 individuals, including 36 irretrievable losses and 36 sanitary losses. Also, in the Kharkiv direction, the adversary lost 37 units of weapons and military equipment, including three artillery systems, two vehicles, four units of special equipment, and 28 UAVs.
Destroyed: 88 shelters for personnel, two launch positions for UAVs, and two ammunition storage sites.

“I am taking on a different position.” Vladimir Timoshko is no longer the head of the National Police in Kharkiv region
He announced this on his Facebook page. Timoshko noted that starting today, November 9, he occupies another post within the National Police system.
“On February 24, 2022, I traveled to my hometown under the unified orders of the President of Ukraine and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, NPU – ‘hold Kharkiv,’ and I fulfilled this order, together with all defense forces and police garrisons. The scoreboard is clear. I am not ashamed of any minute of my work, any day of the war, or any decision made. I had the honor of leading the best police team in the world. I take pride in this. The level of respect from the residents of Slobozhanshchyna towards the police confirms this. I am confident it will continue. I leave behind a fully capable, combat-ready unit that will surely fulfill its functions. I carry with me the earned (I believe) piece of reinforced concrete, as well as a piece of respect for the police, the respect of friends and comrades who stood side by side during this incredibly challenging time, and the memory of those who are no longer with us,” Timoshko wrote.
He also expressed gratitude to all his brothers-in-arms, the state leadership, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the NPU for their support.
“The plan moving forward is as follows: work, victory in the war. Everything will be Ukraine. I have honor,” Timoshko added.

According to data from the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, an impact was recorded on the roadway. Damages included the contact lines of public transport, the premises of a non-operational gas station, and broken windows in a residential building, a hotel, and a hypermarket located nearby.
No injuries were reported due to the strike, the prosecutor's office added.

The enemy shelled Kharkiv region with KABs and an FPV drone: one injured in a day
According to data from Vladimir Timoshko, the head of the National Police in Kharkiv region, on November 8, around 03:00, a KAB damaged the premises of an auto repair shop in Cherkaska Lozova. At 15:00, three aerial bombs “hit” the border village of Ivashky. There, two private houses, outbuildings, and power lines were destroyed and partially damaged.
At 11:50 on November 9, a 44-year-old volunteer was injured due to shelling by an FPV drone; he sustained shrapnel wounds. The UAV fell onto the road near a vehicle, noted Oleg Synegubov, the head of HOVA.
Around 03:00, a KAB struck a field in the village of Odnorobovka.

Airstrikes and nearly 20 attacks: data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Kharkiv region
The enemy conducted airstrikes on the settlements of Volchansk, Bochkovo, Kovsharivka, Novoosynovo, and Bohuslavka, reported the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a summary as of 08:00.
With air support, the enemy launched five assaults on the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the area of the settlement of Volchansk.

Explosion heard in Kharkiv around 03:00
