On the morning of November 8, the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synegubov, reported on the consequences of the Russian "strikes" in the Kharkiv region.
On the previous morning, the occupiers targeted the area, with strikes reported in the Kharkiv and Bohodukhiv districts.
“11:47 Bohodukhiv district, Zolochiv community, village of Postolne, outside populated areas. Shelling with guided aerial bombs in open territory. 11:55 Kharkiv district, Derhachi community, village of Kazachya Lopan. As a result of the shelling from multiple rocket launchers, a residential building was damaged. A 19-year-old man was injured,” Synegubov stated.
At night, Kharkiv came under enemy guided aerial bomb strikes, with the first bomb hitting the Saltivskyi district.
“November 8, 03:36, Kharkiv, Saltivskyi district. As a result of the shelling, the entrance of a 12-story residential building was partially destroyed from the 1st to the 3rd floor. One apartment building and five cars were damaged, as well as the exit of a metro station. A total of 25 people were injured: in mild to moderate condition, with no severe cases. Six individuals were hospitalized,” added the head of the Regional State Administration.
The enemy also shelled the Shevchenkivskyi district, where there were no casualties; however, several high-rise buildings and metro station exits were damaged. Additionally, strikes occurred in the very center of Kharkiv, damaging three administrative buildings.
As a reminder, explosions rocked Kharkiv at night. The first occurred around 03:00. Mayor Igor Terekhov reported that one of the bombs hit a high-rise building in Saltivka, where debris is being cleared. Following this, Synegubov published photos from the city center, showing further destruction at the State Industry Building. The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office provided detailed information on the consequences in the morning.
