The most expensive lard in Ukraine
One of the priciest options is lard made by the couple Marina and Vitaliy Mostovy using original recipes. Their selection includes varieties with smoked paprika, garlic, herbs, honey, and even teriyaki sauce. A 300 g jar of lard costs 300 UAH, which translates to 1,000 UAH per kilogram. Baked lard is even pricier at 350 UAH for 300 g (1160 UAH per kg). Other options are also more expensive; for example, on the FermerGreen website, vacuum-packed lard is priced at 395 UAH for 300 g (1,300 UAH per kg), while at the supermarket "Silpo," it costs 999 UAH per kilogram.
Cheap lard in Ukraine
Budget-friendly lard options are widely available in supermarkets. They are certified and comply with sanitary standards, although their taste may differ from that of more expensive products. Here are the prices for lard in major chains:
