The court has chosen a preventive measure for the suspect in the case of the murder of a military officer from the TCC in Poltava region. He has been taken into custody until April 1 without the possibility of posting bail.
According to "Suspilne," the man admitted his guilt and explained that he was trying to help a relative avoid mobilization. He stated that he only intended to intimidate the military, but it did not work, and he ended up firing a shot. The suspect also claimed that he did not intend to kill and hoped only to injure the soldier.
There are two suspects in the case – residents of Lubny and Poltava. One is charged with obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces during a special period, intentional murder, and the armed robbery using violence. The other is accused of aiding and abetting.
As a reminder, on February 1 in Pyriatyn, Poltava region, a military officer from the local TCC was shot dead at a gas station.
