The guided bomb with a weight of 500 kilograms, which Russian aviation recently dropped on the village of Liptsy in the Kharkiv region, did not detonate.
In the event of an explosion, fragments could have scattered over a kilometer, posing a danger to hundreds of people, noted the 13th Brigade of Operational Assignment of the National Guard of Ukraine "Charter."
Transporting the bomb for disposal was not possible. The brigade's sapper team ensured that there were no people within the blast radius and conducted a controlled detonation of the guided bomb on-site.
